So last weekend, Dan and I went down to Pomeroy, WA, for the running of the Wild West Rally. Previously this rally was held in Olympia, but due to apparent trouble with securing roads, the event was moved east, which worked well for us Spokanites.
Below are pictures and links to videos. Both fortunately and unfortunately, we worked ATC the first day, and thus have no other good stage pictures besides the second day in the same location. Better some pictures than none, though. Seeing as I don't have a decent lens for my camera, these are a bit farther away than I would prefer. Still, if you see a picture of your car or that you just generally like, email me with the file name and I'll send you the raw 1600x1200 file. These are heavily compressed since I was basically ignoring all my photography instincts and went shutter-happy while choking through dust clouds. I'm weeding through some since it will take a while to get them all thumbnailed.
Enjoy!

For the record, Sami-Jo doesn't like having her picture taken, which is of course why we had to get the stealth shot. :)
These were all driving backwards on the stage, just because we figured we should take a few pictures. We arrived too late on Friday to take stage pictures in daylight. Ended up driving some of them at night, though not at speed. The diesel is a little unsettling at high speeds.
Yes, Kristin, we are warming lasagna on the coolant lines to Dan's motor. Diesels suck for manifold cooking. The exhaust is too cold. But at least the coolant lines got the lasagna semi-warm. Next time I'll bring the Datsun. That'll cook things wonderfully.
Have I mentioned Mazdas rock? (Says the Miata driver)
