Wild West Rally 2008.

Back from the weekend rally in Pomeroy, WA. It was a blast! Very successful, minimal attrition (about 18-20 cars finished out of 22 entrants), and lots of sideways high-speed action. Most notable was the very fast rwd Volvo 262 driven by John Lane, who won the event, ahead of the 4wd cars. Funny, huh? Stages were dry and quite dusty this year, but unlike last year's freezing temperatures due to wind and rain, I got a sunburn at 75 degrees this time.
Unfortunately due to time constraints, I didn't get nearly as many photos, and ended up working flying finish again this year, which wasn't bad. The second running of the New York stage on Saturday get me out in enough time to drive over to another stage and get some good pictures and video.
